Meeting with the winegrowers, wine tastings, guided tours of the properties, castles and surroundings of Saint Emilion, photo exhibitions, farmers’ markets, children’s areas, wine workshops…. A great choice of activities, for everybody. A key event, not to be missed !

Every year, on the occasion of the Saint-Emilion Open Doors, a contest game is organized to make you wine 1 bottle per participating Château !
DINNER WITH THE WINEGROWERS
The winegrowers who participate in the Saint-Emilion “Open Days” (Portes Ouvertes) invite you to discover their wines during the winegrower’s dinner organized on Saturday April 30th at 8 p.m., in the Salle des Dominicains (14 rue Guadet – 33330 Saint-Emilion). The Jurade will open the festivities. A friendly moment of exchanges and sharing with everyone around refined dishes.

LA MAISON DU VIN DE SAINT EMILION
La Maison du Vin de Saint-Emilion offers you two activities for the 2022 Open Days. Each will allow you to approach the wines of Saint-Emilion in a different way.
1. Commented tasting of Grands Crus Classés
The objective is to allow amateurs to discover the Grands Crus Classés of Saint-Emilion through an exchange with a professional speaker. On the program: tastings and discussions to better understand these wines.

2. Initiation to tasting
The objective is to allow novices and amateurs to discover the wines of Saint-Emilion. For this, the course will offer a presentation of the vineyard (terroir, classification, etc.) as well as an introduction to the aromas of wines. You can also taste two wines.
