Le show est de retour cet été 2023 !

Castillon 1453 vous présente sa saison 2023, du 20 juillet au 19 août 2023: découvrez l’époque médiévale de la Guyenne en vous divertissant dans son village médiéval et en assistant au spectacle « La Bataille de Castillon », évocation historique autour de la dernière bataille qui mit fin à la guerre de 100 ans.
Laissez-vous surprendre par le nombre de figurants et d’acteurs (plus de 250 sur scène, plus de 500 pour la totalité de la saison), par 40 chevaliers et leur monture, par la taille de l’aire scénique (3 ha) mise en scène par le jeu des lumières et des effets pyrotechniques. Découvrez les coutumes des villageois et vignerons, partagez la vie des moines du prieuré.
Découvrez les grands personnages de Guyenne : Aliénor d’Aquitaine, John Talbot…
Immergez-vous en 1453 qui marque également la fin du Moyen-Âge avec la chute de Constantinople.

In the terroir of Castillon there are 230 winemakers, with an average vineyard size of 10 hectares. We can say that the vineyard is on a human scale which I think, makes it interesting to discover. Most people are really passionate as they inherited the property from their parents/grandparents and are very keen on passing on this knowledge.

I have already met a few winemakers, whether at private tastings or wine events. If you also want to meet them, join a Saturday Tasting at the Maison du Vin of Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux. A great opportunity to share a moment of conviviality, exchange and discovery.

Amongst the winemakers you could find for instance Elisabeth (French !) OR Robert (English !)

In the evening, before the BIG show, you can either watch entertainments/ games or attend conferences…
