My family and I discovered this beach in December 2017 when we visited my Australian friend Andrew who lives on the Bilgola plateau. This is an amazing beach, but it can be dangerous. It has a permanent rip called the Newport Express so stay between the flags if you want to survive the excellent surf here.

The rock pool is an 8 lane, 50 metre pool with concrete walls and floor. Access from the carpark area off The Serpentine. Pay and Display parking is available.
